Soooo After much anticipation and a long drawn out process, to make sure you get only the best, Jamie Thomas and the Black Box guys are almost finished with the first installment of ‘Ask Jamie Thomas - The Answers’. There was an overwhelming response to the Ask Jamie Thomas promotion and he wanted to make sure that he answered as many of the best questions that he could. You also know the Chief goes for quality over quantity. So of course, the HD video, including some skateboarding footage from Jamie Thomas, Chris Cole, and friends, will be put out very soon… Hold tight and make sure you check back daily!

Active Pros Eric Koston and Billy Marks both showed up on Wednesday, Dec 3rd to do a signing for Chino Hills Active. A ton of the local skaters came out to meet Koston and Marks and get their hands on a signature from the duo. Captain and Casey from the Captain and Casey Show on FUEL tv also surprised everyone by showing up and signing autographs for everyone in attendance. Amazing collection of art from some extraordinary individuals who have all played a major roll in the world of skateboarding. Most already know that Lance, Cab, and Hosoi have been HUGE innovators with tricks, but they also have a very creative eye for designing their own boards and graphics that still shape our urban empire culture today. I’ll have a some pieces up myself and I’ll have free gifts for the first 160 people! Just look for the guy in the most wackiest outfit and or costume. Bring your boards, cuz we’ll be filming a session through the streets of Pasadena at 11pm sharp! If your a baller, you may be able to walk away with some art for the right price. Boo Yaa!!

The éS Footwear Team rolled through two Active’s this past Sunday, November 30th. The first stop was Active Long Beach and the second was Active Irvine Spectrum. Blast from the past.

I’ve been reorganizing my photo archives and came across these photos that have never been seen outside of my computer. It’s been fun remembering these moments.

Here are 3 photos from december of 2005, while I was filming my video part for the first MDP-People film “People”. I was in Minnesota along with Mitch Neslon, Ryan Thompson, Curtis Woodman, and Darrel Mathes. We had full pro photographers there at the time, being Andy Wright and Rob Mathis. After I got my shot at these spots, I took out my camera and went on the other side of the lens. I never submitted these photos anywhere, so here’s their first look into the public.

I sessioned this ledge first, getting a lipslide to fakie on it. Then Mitch Nelson got a backside tailpress on it.

This kinked rail is right across the field from the ledge. Ryan Thompson got his shot right before sundown.

This rail has since been hit by JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, and others. But first person to step up was Curtis Woodman!

Last february I got invited to join the MDP-People crew over in Tahoe. It was with Brian Fox, Stephen Duke, Louie Fountain, and Josh Mills (funny the crew was all Active team riders). Here’s a few photos from the weekend with my homeys.

Brian found this tranny finder gap, did a fs 180 and luckily did it perfect first try, because that landing was a stump with just a little snow on it. No repeats could have been done.
