Back in the late 80’s Guy was rolling on Swiss, and we are happy to have him officially back on the team. Some heavy hitting ams join Bones Swiss this month too: Almost super am Torey Pudwill and Girl stylish rippers Sean Malto and Alex Olson now roll on Bones Swiss. Rick McCrank, PJ Ladd, Danny Garcia, Raymond Molinar and new pros Bobby Worrest and Silas Baxter-Neal are featured in ?S video, SKATE, out now. The Nike video premiered last week featuring with Swiss riders Omar Salazar, Wieger Van Wageningen and Swiss and Nike flowers Brad Staba, Tony Manfre, Daryl Angel, and Danny Fuenzalida.

Lakai video Fully Flared is up soon, with Swiss rider Marc Johnson’s long anticipated video part, as well as Cairo Foster, Mike Mo Capaldi and new Swiss riders Alex Olson and Guy Mariano. Osiris has their video coming out November 2nd, so watch for a banging Caswell part in that. Speaking of Caswell, A new Tilt Mode video is in the works for next year, with MJ to have more banging footy, as well as south bayers’ Jerry Hsu, Louie Barletta, Caswell, Colt Cannon and Daryl Angel. Look for all these Bones in the mags as their coverage from these filming trips comes out in photographic form.

Hotspots is a new video series I am starting which shows, well, which spots are “hot” right now. I am starting it with Garvanza Park, which is in Highland Park behind Burbank Middle School, which isn’t close to Burbank at all. We always end up going there before during or to end a session. What sucks is it doesn’t open until 2pm. If you go right at 2, its perfect. You can skate pretty much by yourself for almost an hour until around 3 when all the kids get out of school.

A bunch of homies make apperances in this video; Theotis Beasley, Bobby Worrest, Luan De Oliveira (winner of 2007 GVR), Felipe Ortiz (not Gustavo, which he is named in the video, since Scuba told me the wrong name), Scuba Steve, Mike Anderson of Krooked, Ned Casual, and Jacob Van Orden who you might remember from the first Am Spotlight we did a couple months ago. We will continue this series, let us know if you know any hot spots, or have any ideas of how we could make it better. Hope everybody likes it.

Hot Dogs and Hessians landed back in San Dimas, the place it all began! 5 years ago the Zero team showed up to the skatepark and shralped for the very few kids who knew about the event. Today the same kids that were there since the first date of Hot Dogs and Hessians are ripping it up themselves. It’s the circle of skateboarding that keeps going around and around…

Words: Corey Cady- Venice is awesome! It has a certain type of bohemian charm that keeps people coming and business men scoffing at all of the so called “freaks” every weekend. Parking is a mess, but not a problem if you have a skateboard. The Landscaping of Venice Beach is inhibited by vegans, burn outs, street performers, vendors and other various attention grabbers that are always up to something.

Lats night’s Season Finale Episode of Rob and Big on Mtv featured Active Westwood’s Signing and Rob Dyrdek’s UAV Give a way. Many tried to succeed in winning Rob’s truck, but only one beat him at game of skate and beat out Big Black in ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’.

Frank was the big winner of the day, Congratulations! Check out the Active Westwood portion of the episode online now!
