Incase Backpacks Accessories and Covers

by Mark Spider - September 16th, 2008

Incase - A Better Experience Through Good Design

Incase: a better experience through good design. Their motto couldn’t be more true. Incase is one of my favorite companies out there. They do accessories and cases better than anyone. I personally own the Nylon Slim Backpack,  the Protective Cover For IPhone, and the Guitar Dub bag. Their attention to detail in their designs are what make them the best. It’s like that old saying, There’s a place for everything, and everything in it’s place, I’m surprised their isn’t an Iphone holder in my Iphone holder. Later this year Incase will be launching their Paul Rodriguez signature line of bags, they look legit, and you know you’ll be able to get them right here at Active Ride Shop.

Insight Education Night

by brent.futagaki - August 5th, 2008

On Saturday, July 27th, 2008. Insight brought the party or should I say the Bonner to Costa Mesa Camp! The night was to celebrate the new partnership with one of Active’s most exciting brands and to showcase their holiday line. The atmosphere was set with the ever so artistic Dopamine campaign framed and hung around the event, and Insight’s very own Justin Reynolds on the turn tables mixing it up for all the peeps. The definite highlight to the evening was the “Watch the Green Ball” event coordinated by the one and only Bonner. The best way to describe this event would be Hacksack on Mountain Dew, it was extreme, all I have to say is watch your drink. Thanks to all that came out and thank you to Insight for great evening, long live the Bonner!!!!

If you’ve already seen Danny Way’s crash from the X-Games 14 Big Air event last Thursday, you know that Danny Way is gnarly. Watch this video of what was going on behind the scenes and I think you’ll agree that Danny Way is on a level at which all things gnarly should be measured against. Rightfully so, Danny was named Best Athlete of X-Games 14. Thanks to DC for the footage.

Mike Vallely - MTV Personality?

by Erica Yary - July 31st, 2008

Yes, the rumors are true, Active friend and skateboarder Mike Vallely is now the newest addition to the crew of skateboarders who have gotten their own Mtv show. Aside from Mike V having his own FUELtv show, Drive, he has many other things going on that makes him one of the busiest and hardworking men in the business. Mike juggles his professional skateboarding carreer, rock star gig in the band Revolution Mother, FUELtv show Drive, and Mike never ceases to be a dare-devil madman. Lastly, Mike V’s job that is always prevalent, being a father and husband. The show will encompass all of the chapters of Mike’s crazy life and give you a glimpse of what Mike V is all about. Mike V invited me and Chris Haslam down to the second taping of the show and I was blown away at how huge and produced the show is going to be. It’s quite amazing. I’m not going to spoil anything, but check out the photos and we will have more updates soon!
