The Fallen Team is coming out to Active Riverside at 1pm and Active Chino at 4pm on Sunday, December 7th. Make sure you don’t miss out on seeing the Fallen Footwear Team, including Jamie Thomas, Billy Marks, Chris Cole and more, for the last time at Active in the year 2008!

  Last february I got invited to join the MDP-People crew over in Tahoe.  It was with Brian Fox, Stephen Duke, Louie Fountain, and Josh Mills (funny the crew was  all Active team riders).  Here’s a few photos from the weekend with my homeys.

Brian found this tranny finder gap, did a fs 180 and luckily did it perfect first try, because that landing was a stump with just a little snow on it.  No repeats could have been done.

Reuniting once again and ganging up with industry heavy was the Hessians attack plan for another fall ’08 reunion tour. Our brothers from Neurotoxin brought the jams and the Girl camp came correct with famous faces, plus tons of free gear for the peoples. Hot Dogs were served and best trick contest hosted all through out the Southland of California. This tour is all about YOU! If you missed the experience, just hold tight until summer ’09, we’ll unleash the beast once again! Big thanks to Girl + Chocolate, Analog, Team BK, RTB!, Sabre Vision, Luke Nyguen, Robbie Jeffers @ Zoo York, Nihilist, and most of all Neurotoxin!! See ya next summer!!

Eden Advocate Lisa Solberg

Eden Advocate Amber B. & Mr. Autumn 

Artist Lisa Solberg has been welcomed to the amazing group of women that make up the Advocate Family at Element along with Advocate Amber B. who just finished a show at Colette in Paris.

Lisa recently came off her first show in Los Anageles at the well renowned Kinsey/ DeForeges Gallery where she was creating  limitless artwork that was influenced from her innovation and ever changing inspiration.  Click here to see and read more on Lisa.

Element Eden Advoate Amber B. just came off a show at the Paraisian Boutique and art house, Colette.  This is where she created Mr. Autumn as a tribute to the changing of the Seasons and also embarked on a photo journal of her stay in Paris.  See more from Amber and her journey here.

 The Element Eden Advoate program has begun as a way to motivate and showcase aspiring female artisits and define beyond the norm what it means to be a girl in today’s world.  Among the many amazing members of the Advocate program are  poet and musician Ishle Park, philanthropist Kendra Jones Morris, craftswoman Beck Hickey, musician and DJ Mataji Booker, Australian personality Asha Kuerten and artists Brook Reidt, Pepa Prieto, Juliana Neufield and Tiffany Bozic.

   I just got a random email this afternoon from somebody I never knew till now, Josh Ramp.  He saw my photo gallery of Boreal’s opening day on Transworld Snowboarding Magazine’s website (www.twsnow.com), and used it for an art project at his school.  I’m really psyched on what he did, great work.

   Tahoe is still off to a mellow start in it’s winter, but Boreal wants you to feel otherwise.  They opened their main chairlift to the top of the mountain, so my homey’s and I went up to escape the Reno heat… which must have followed us because the falling snow was warmed into a cloudy mist.

Our goggles were beaded up with water, but not bad enough to get our clothes really wet.   It actually was really fun.  It’s those kind of conditions that remind you that you’re snowboarding, and not skating on the snow; even though the features where video game perfect.

The park was packed; people were already imitating their favorite pros video parts.  Even a few local pros were reenacting their own video segments.  Stephen Duke, Andrew Brewer, Nick Visconti, Danny Davis, Jason Kell, John Foy and others were putting on a show.  I put my compact camera in my pocket, hit the slopes, and got some photos for you.
