Vans presents, the Second Annual Active Am! It's all going down again and this year the contest will be held on November 18th, 2007 at the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter.

Be there for FREE and check out the action as 25 of the World's Top Amateur skateboarders battle it out for $5,000 winner takes all cold hard cash.

The confirmed riders skating in Active Am 2007 are:

The Emerica Demo 2007 took place this past weekend in the heat and windy Valley of Simi. Active Simi Valley was flooded with skate fans and enthusiasts from all over the map. People came from far and wide to witness Simi Valley skate demolition courteousy of the Emerica professional and amateur team. The only person who was missing was our boy Braydon Szafranski, and he was dearly missed.

Check out the photos and the video from the day’s event. Thanks to everyone who was involved including Jeff Henderson, Justin Regan, Erin Oldaker, Team BK and to all the Emerica guys who showed up and brought the Emerica Thunder to Simi Valley; Andrew Reynolds, Heath Kirchart, Leo Romero, Bryan Herman, Jerry Hsu, Kevin Long, and Marquis Preston. A big thanks also goes out to the Simi Valley and Active Events crew, good job folks.

Bling Fest, Active's Annual Best Trick Contest and Music Festival, is just around the corner and everyone is going to need to mark their calendars for the biggest and best Bling Fest yet! Saturday, November 17th will go down in history! The Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter will once again be the home to Bling Fest 2007 as well as The Second Annual Active Am on Sunday, November 18th.

This year we are giving away over $20,000 in cash and prizes and over a hundred of the best professional and amateur skaters in the world will be in the house to claim the cash. Hundred Dollar Hammers will once again be given out for any tricks that the judges feel are worthy of a Benjamin. And we are sure that the guys skating in the event this year will be bringing the heat!

This year Chad Muska and Jamey Stone will be on the mics to keep the crowd hyped and Angels &amp Airwaves will be the headling band on the Hurley Stage!

Element Ladies Night

On November 1st the Active Ladies were

invited to the Element office to preview the Element Eden Spring 2008 line, coming out at the end of November. We were treated to hors d’ ouvres and beverages as Element guest speakers, including founder and President Johnny Schillereff and designers Wendy Choi and Filipa DaSilva, spoke on their goals, ideas and experiences at ElementElement goodies were given away and Rancho Cucamonga Active employee Kellie Hall walked away from the raffle with a one-of-a-kind Beck(y) clutch. A huge thanks goes out to the Element team for hosting a great event for all the Active Ladies. JAMIE THOMAS, CHRIS COLE AND THE Zero TEAM BRING THE HEAT – ANGELS AND AIRWAVES TO HEADLINE AT BLING FEST 2007Vans presents Bling Fest 2007, Southern California's largest skateboarding contest and music festival – bringing hundreds of professional and amateur skateboarders from around the world to the city of Rancho Cucamonga on November 17, 2007. Chris Cole, Jamie Thomas and the Zero team will bring the heat at this years Bling Fest event. Andrew “The Boss” Reynolds, Leo Romero, Tony Tave, Chad Muska, Kenny Anderson, Erik Ellington, and many others will also be in town for Bling Fest's “Hundred Dollar Hammer” session.
